age 86, died June 12, 2002 at a Muskegon nursing home. He was born October 24, 1915 in Royal Oak, Michigan, moved to Traverse City in 1980 and then resided in Muskegon since 1994. He married the former Clara R. Stark in Royal Oak on May 4, 1946. She preceded him in death on May 24, 1995. Mr. Anderson served in the U.S. Air Force during W.W.II and was a member of the V.F.W. in Southfield, MI. He was employed as a supervisor fo shipping and receiving at Steel Supply. Phillip was a member of the VFW, and he retired as an electrician from Ford Motor Company. He has been a home owner in Tawas for 31 years, and lived in Tawas for 21 years.
