CUNNINGHAM MARY Age 75 died at 10:15 am December 30, 2012 at Van Wert County Hospital. She was born October 14, 1937 in Detroit to James and Marjorie Cunningham (Myers). She married Michael Acquaviva who preceded her in death. She retired from Chrysler after 22 years of service and she was a devoted Detroit sports fan. Survivors include two sons, Michael (Maureen) Acquaviva of Detroit and Leonard Acquaviva of Van Wert, two grandchildren, James (Heather) Acquaviva and Amanda Acquaviva, also four great grandchildren Toni, James, Noah, and Tyra. She was preceded in death by a daughter Toni Acquaviva and a sister Kay Williams. At Mary's request no public services or visiting hours will be held. RINALDI ERNEST A., resident of St. Clair Shores, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2012. Born on April 14, 1923 in Scottdale, PA., he was 89. He served in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant from 1943 to 1946 earning the Victory Medal, Bronze Battle Star and two overseas Service Bars. He retired from the Federal Government as an IRS Agent in 1978. Ernie enjoyed serving as a member of the St. Joan of Arc Ushers Club in addition to volunteering at St. John Hospital and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. He loved traveling, especially going on cruises and was always the "life of the party". He is survived by his brother, Lou (Martha) Rinaldi and sister-in-law Delores Rinaldi. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.He is predeceased by his parents, Carmine and Carmela Rinaldi, and siblings Helen Ginder, Amos, Mike, George, Eddie and Don Rinaldi.
