CUTTING NELLIE. We mourn the passing of our beloved mother and friend, Nellie Catherine Brady-Cutting, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital on January 1, 2013. Her life was shared by many and rejoiced by all. Nellie was born December 7, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Frank E. and Eleanor (Daniel) Brady. She graduated from Berea High School in 1944, and was employed by the Internal Revenue Service, Cleveland, Ohio. She married Charles Herbert Cutting in 1947 and enjoyed 65 wonderful years together, making their homes in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Birmingham, Michigan, Mexico City, Mexico and Troy, Michigan, before settling in Mansfield, Ohio, last year. Nellie was unselfish in her love and helpfulness to others. The light and love of her life besides her husband was her three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was feisty and determined, with a keen sense of humor. Her deep religious conviction molded her sense of fairness and values of right and wrong. Her favorite hobbies were travel, cooking and playing cards. Nellie is survived by her husband, Charles Herbert: three children, Connie Cutting-Champine, husband, Tim of Rochester Hills, MI, Charles H. Cutting, Jr., wife, Debi of Austin, TX and Karen Viau, husband, Dr. Michael Viau of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Jared Cutting, wife Crystal of Lubbock, TX, Megan Cutting of Portland, ME, Jacqueline Viau-Oryhon, husband, Mark, of Chicago, IL, Katherine Viau of Brooklyn, NY, Michelle Viau of New York, NY; and one great-grandchild, Ember Cutting. He was the owner of Harrelson Plumbing Co. in the Aspen, Colorado area for 30 years and moved to South Padre Island in 2005 where he was the owner of Island Plumbing Co. Allen had a passion for restoring classic Corvettes, riding his motorcycle and being challenged to a good game of billiards - he thoroughly enjoyed life and could always be seen smiling.
