CHAMBERS JAMES LEE JR. was born in Cincinnati Ohio, sunrise November 26, 1945 sunset January 1, 2011. He graduated from Mackenzie High in Detroit, January of 1964 and enlisted into the United States Air Force, where he served as a Military Police Officer in the Viet Nam War. Honorable Discharged 1968. James attended Macomb Community College and received an A.S. degree in Marketing and is an alumnus of the University of Detroit with a B. A. and M. A. degree in Economics. James worked and retired from the Federal Reserve as an employee for over thirty years. His specialties were reading Philosophy and teaching math. MacDONALD IRENE CONSTANCE (ZAREMBA) of West Bloomfield MI, died January 5, 2011, of complications of Parkinson disease. Her life ended a week before her 82nd birthday, and she departed confident that she would again see her husband Paul MacDonald, who died in 1996. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend, and her sparkling blue eyes, kindness, strength and sharp wit will be sorely missed. Her wide-ranging interests included love of animals, nature, music and art. She was a gifted potter and worked in Oakland Community College's Royal Oak campus ceramics lab for many years, exhibiting her work widely. She spent many years as a volunteer at the Detroit Zoo. She leaves behind her daughter Nancy MacDonald of Royal Oak MI; her son Greg MacDonald, daughter-in-law Nancy Evans and grandson Nicholas Nestler of Spokane WA; brother Henry Zaremba of Tempe AZ; Marilyn Harvey of Traverse City MI; Pat Schramm of West Bloomfield and more friends and relatives than can be named here. ROBERSON FERN MARIE Was born February 7, 1922 to Anne and Milton Adams in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband William A. Roberson and sister Dr. Aline Rivers Jones. After attending schools in Windsor and Detroit, she was employed by the Michigan State Fair as an account executive until her retirement. She was first married to James C. Olden in Detroit. She and her second husband "Roby" enjoyed traveling the world, attending Bridge tournaments, and playing numerous other competitive games. She continued playing Duplicate Bridge and made many new friends after moving to Houston, Texas in 2002. She is survived by daughters Ms. Portia Poindexter and Mrs. Linda Smith; grandchildren Nicole and Alfred and wife Silvania Poindexter; great grandchildren Alfred and Lily Poindexter; stepchildren Keith and wife Loretha Roberson, Yolanda Glover, and Amber Roberson; and stepgrandchildren Keith, Imani and Christian. Fern Marie Roberson died on January 5, 2011 in Houston, Texas and leaves many friends in Texas, Michigan and Canada. Donations may be made in her memory to Houston Hospice.

WELLS THERESA M. 86, of Farmington Hills and Port Austin, Michigan. Passed away at her Farmington Hills home over the Christmas holiday. Ms. Wells up until the time of her death commuted, every two weeks depending on the weather, between her Farmington Hills and Port Austin homes so as to stay in touch and near her lifelong friends, neighbors and loved ones. Theresa was born on August 26, 1924 in Grindstone City to the late Anthony and Agnes (Wojchowski) Biarski, the last of eight children of her parents. Theresa graduated Grindstone High School in 1941 and shortly thereafter moved to Detroit to work at various companies, primarily Packard Car Company until its closure and then Ford Motor Company until retiring in 1989 from Ford's. At Ford's she worked in the early stages of computerization by working in its data processing center, as a clerk, initially in its keypunch operations, and transitioned with Ford's and the world to the computer age. Theresa recently lost her last two sisters, Margaret F. Bulley, age 95, this past April and Dorothy Levalske, age 90, in 2007, both of Bad Axe, Michigan a short drive from her Port Austin home. Theresa was also preceded in death by two other sisters and three brothers, Michael, Peter, and Joseph Biarski, and Gertrude Wilkos and Goldie Millard, respectively. Visitation and services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Port Austin. Officiating will be Father Andrew Boom, pastor. Theresa will be interred next to her husband, Clifford, in the church cemetery.
