FORGACS JAMES CHARLES JR. February 17, 2013, Age 65. Born November 25, 1947 to Patricia and the late James Forgacs Sr. Jim was born in Detroit, attended Cooley High School, and graduated with a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. He worked as a payroll accountant for over 40 years at Ford Motor Company and Visteon. He finally retired in January of 2012. Jim was a devoted husband to Carla (Lenhoff) and proud father of James C. Forgacs III (Vicky) and Adam Kenneth Forgacs (Megan). He is also survived by his twin brother Tom, sister Barb Stutesman (Ernie) and Michael Forgacs (Hericelda) and many beloved nieces and nephews, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. PATON JOHN, died February 19, 2013 of natural causes in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a good and generous soul who gave a gift of friendship to all who knew him. John Worth Paton was born September 21, 1926 in Detroit, the second child and first son of Worth John and Rose Kaiser Paton of Grosse Pointe, MI. He graduated in 1943 from St. Ambrose High School in Detroit and entered military service on the Army hospital and troop ship SS Brazil. Aboard the Brazil he assisted in the transport of German POWs from the Philippines, sailing through the Panama Canal to Fort Lee, New Jersey, where he was honorably discharged in 1946. John attended Michigan State University, becoming a champion squash player, and married Barbara Lee Howard of Eau Claire, Wisconsin on August 21, 1954. The Patons moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 1959. John worked for the American Standard company and was a salesman, stock-broker, plumber and greenskeeper in Grand Rapids, ending his career with 17 years as a trusted and cherished worker at Green Ridge and Egypt Valley country clubs. He shot a hole in one at Egypt Valley and spent many happy hours on the golf course in the company of his family. He was beloved by everyone that knew him, and had a kindness and humor that was truly extraordinary. He was always there for his family, his strong support for his wife and children helped them to do many great things that otherwise would not have been possible. He had the ability to see the truth and to gently show the way for those that were fortunate enough to be close to him. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Paton; his sister Marilyn Eger; daughters Sara Davis (Mark), Mary (Randy Kurzman), Elizabeth, and son David (Judy). He cherished his grandchildren Hannah and Sophie Paton, Shannon Davis and Melissa Hopping.
