CARLTON KATHRYN E. Of Birmingham and Indian River, Michigan passed away peacefully on June 19. 2011 after a long and happy life. Loving mother of Tim Nagle (Jan), Tom Nagle, Terry Nagle (Cindy), Kerry Reis (Jerry), and John Carlton Jr. (Michaela). Proud grandmother of Marti, Patrick, Katy, Tyler, and Ryan and great-grandmother of Alexandra, Rory, and Roland. She was a graduate of Redford High School, The Detroit Business Institute, and The Control Data Institute. She worked as a programmer analyst for the Alexander Hamilton Insurance Company for 12 years. There, she designed and wrote financial and billing computer applications. After retiring, she moved, with her husband, John, to Burt Lake in northern Michigan where she loved boating, sewing, and many visits from family. She was a member of the Cross in the Woods Catholic Shrine, the Straits Area Audubon Society, the Red Hat Society, and was a Friend of the Indian River Library. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11 am at the Cross in the Woods Catholic Shrine, 7078 West M-68 Hwy., Indian River, Michigan. The Reverend Father Harry Speckman, O.F.M. will be officiating. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. at the Shrine prior to mass. Internment will immediately follow at the Catholic Shrine Cemetery in Indian River. CORBISHDALE EDWIN A. Passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the age of 85. Edwin was born in Detroit, Michigan on September, 12 1925. DOBLER GORDON J. June 20, 2011, due to complications of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Lymphoma. He survived this disease for nine years. Gordon was born in Flint, Michigan on June 28, 1936 to Edgar H. and L. Marie (Vohel) Dobler. He was preceded in passing by his parents and his former wife Margaret Cooper Dobler. LINZMAIER MARION "PEGGIE" A long time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on June 17, 2011 at her home, after an extended illness. Peggie was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 15, 1925. She worked as a keypunch operator for Ford Motor Company from 1943 to 1976. After moving to Colorado Springs in 1976, she and her husband, Lou Linzmaier owned the Hideaway Lounge for 12 years. During that time, she gave many years of volunteer service to Silver Key Senior Services and Community Health Centers. She was a member of the Eastern Star and had many friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Louis Linzmaier, her son Gerald Zentz and grandson Scott Zentz. She is survived by a brother, James McGuire and a sister, Kathy McGuire Langer, two children, Martin (Marian) and Lori, nine grandchildren, Barbara, Hope, Kimberly Matthew, Miranda, Katherine, Michael (Kimberly), Erin and Shawn, and five great grandchildren, Dallas, Jordan, Kaylee, Aiden and Allen.
