She was born on November 28, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Mikhail and Anastasia Hrenkevich. She was a longtime member of Antioch Lutheran Church, Farmington Hills and Zion Lutheran Church, Chelsea, and had retired from J.L. Hudson's. She was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan. FETSCO ANNE (ONDERCHANIN), was born October 9, 1914 in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. Anne passed on to a better place on August 26 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a Detroiter until her retirement in 1978. Anne loved Florida and soon after retirement, she relocated to the sunshine state. Her husband George preceded her in death. She is survived by her four children, James (Joanne), Suzanne, George (Cynthia) and Daniel (Patricia); granddaughters Julie, Lara and Catherine, and great-granddaughter Lauren. Services were private. HARRIS FLORENCE MAY, age 108, of Fenton, died Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Caretel Inns of Linden. A memorial service was held Friday, September 7, 2012. She grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland before moving to Detroit in 1913. Quitting school after the eighth grade, May became a messenger girl for Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals, working her way up to cost clerk. She married Carl Harris in Detroit and he preceded her in death in 1959. She lived in Detroit area until 1998 when she moved to Royal Oak, living on her own until she was 104. She contributed her longevity to walking, climbing stairs and a positive attitude, to May "attitude was everything". May had recently been involved in a longevity study in California. HYLTON KENNETH N. SR. ESQ. was born on July 7, 1929 in Roanoke, Virginia. He attended Talladega College, graduating in 1950, and married his wife of 59 years, Ethel W. Hylton (now deceased), in 1951. He graduated with a law degree from Boston University Law School in 1952, and a Master's Degree from Wayne State University in 1954. He served in the army from 1953 to 1956, after which he moved to Detroit to practice law. He gave freely of his time in public service; to the state bar, to politics, to the civil rights movement, and to the community in social and business spheres, in addition to working long hours as a lawyer. His survivors are sons Keith N. Hylton and Kevin N. Hylton, and eight grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 14th at Plymouth United Church of Christ 600 E. KOSTYSHAK DANIEL 53, passed away at Lourdes Hospital after a brief illness. Daniel was predeceased by his mother, Geraldine Kostyshak and his wife, Rhonda Hillhouse Kostyshak. He is survived by his father, Edward Kostyshak of Binghamton, NY, his brother, William Kostyshak of Rochester, NY, and his sister, Daria Brown of McLean, Virginia. Daniel grew up in Dearborn Heights, MI and was a graduate of the United States Military Academy class of 1980. During his service in the United States Army, he earned the expert infantryman badge, parachutist badge, air assault badge, and ranger tab, before retiring with the rank of Captain. Upon leaving military service, Daniel attained an MBA from the University of South Carolina and a Masters in Information Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He opened his own Marketing and Advertising Consulting company "Kostyshak and associates" in the Binghamton area where he continued to work up to his hospitalization. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lourdes Hospital Intensive Care Unit and the Danielle House for their compassionate care during this difficult time. Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
