AUSTIN ROBERT 89, died October 1, 2012 at home. Born in Hamilton Ontario, Canada on May 20, 1923, the son of William and Ellen (Woolhouse) Austin. Bob married Marion (Mickey) Gregerson on June 17, 1949. Survived by wife, son and four daughters. Also by 13 beloved grandchildren and three precious great-grand-children. Robert became an American Citizen upon entering the U.S. Army in 1943. He served with the 10th Mountain Division during the Italian Campaign. Cremation has taken place, per his wishes;a private family gathering will be held next summer. If desired, contributions can be made to B.A.C.N, or the Salvation Army. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 13432 of Kingsley. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was a lifelong baker. STANIEVICH FR. WALTER J. 92, October 5, 2012. Survived by Sister-in-law Aldona (the late John) Stanievich, loving nephews, Dr. John (Maria) Stanievich, George (Karen) Stanievich, niece Christine and beloved great-nephews John, Robert and Joseph. Cherished great-niece Rebecca (Jason) Viola also survive. Preceded in death by nephew Robert Stanievich. Father Stanievich was born on February 3, 1920, in Hamtramck, Michigan and became an ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on October 26, 1946. Fr. Stanievich's many assignments included serving as associate pastor at St. Clement Parish, Warren; St. Patrick Parish, Wyandotte; Holy Innocents Parish, Roseville; and St. Vincent Parish, Detroit. In addition, Fr. Stanievich served as administrator at St. Anthony (Lithuanian) Parish, Detroit; St. Peter Lithuanian Parish, Detroit; St. Paschal Baylon Parish, Taylor; St. Sylvester Parish, Warren; St. Perpetua Parish, Waterford; St. Henry Parish, Lincoln Park; St. Francis Xavier Parish, Ecorse; and as pastor at St. Anthony (Lithuanian) Parish, Detroit and St. Mark Parish, Warren. Visitation will take place at E. J. Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors (586-757-3563), 22642 Ryan Road (one blk. WEBER BARBARA JEAN Age 77, of South Lyon (formerly of Redford), passed away September 30, 2012 in Naples, FL. Born March 15, 1935, in Detroit, to the late Louis and Dorothy (Noble) Lanier. She married Gerald Weber on June 22, 1957. Beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her husband and four children: Dorothy (Darrell) Korzym, Danita Weber, Dennis Weber, and Darice Weber. She is also survived by her grandson, Derek, and her sister, Beverly.
