DOMBROWSKI JOAN Dear wife of Walter Dombrowski, Joan passed away peacefully at their home in Rolling Hills Estates, California following a courageous year-long battle. Joan was a 1947 graduate of Chadsey High School and subsequently was an employee of Lincoln Mercury Motors. In January 1952 she married Walter in Newport RI upon his completion of Naval OCS. After his discharge in early 1955, the couple moved to California and lived there happily ever since. The couple's total devotion to one another was apparent to all who knew them. Joan loved traveling with her husband and welcomed visits of family and friends. Her youthful and lovely appearance was remarked upon by many and she retained it until her final days. All those who knew her will miss her warm smile which reflected her generous and compassionate nature. Joan was preceded in death by her parents John and Veronica (Lenski) Bochenek, also by her brother Leonard Bochenek. She is dearly missed by her grieving husband Walter. In addition, her sister Delores Livingston, her nieces and nephews Lynne (Richard) Morse, Louis (Anna) Bochenek, Bridget (Christopher) Rohn, Sean Morse, Matthew Bochenek mourn her passing.

GARCIA JESSE RICHARD May 17, 1943 - September 30, 2012. Resident of Redwood City Deeply loved Jesse Richard Garcia rose up to be with his late and beloved wife, Beverly Jean Garcia and our Father in the sky on September 30, 2012. Richard is survived by his children, Lori Bess, Tony Rodriguez, Linda Chicca , Lisa Lovazzano; his Grandchildren Tim, Brian and Summer Bess, Steven and Gabriella Lovazzano, Kaitlin Chicca and Paul Mollinedo. Father-in-law to Richard Bess and Bruce Lovazzano. Brother to Pat Martin, Uncle to Aaron and Agnes Pierce, Ruben, Rick and Mick Oriel and Cynthia Saldana; all of his many special cousins including the Orozco family. Richard was born in Fleming, Kentucky. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Detroit, Michigan, where Richard later met and married his beautiful wife, Jean. Richard and Jean raised their four children in Detroit until they moved to San Jose, CA. in 1968. Over the years, he worked at Great Lakes Steel in Detroit, Owens Illinois in San Jose, Frontier Plumbing for his son-in-law in Redwood City and Smart Products in San Jose, as a Quality Control Manager. Following his retirement ,you could find him helping his daughter Lisa at her store, Menloville, in Menlo Park, as well as volunteering at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center in Redwood City. Richard loved fishing, camping, traveling to new places in his Winnebago, golfing, visiting Reno, cooking his famous "White Boy" Tacos for his family, family BBQ's, daily visits to Starbucks for his favorite drink-Grande Black Pike coffee, and fixing things. Rich, as his loved ones called him, was a true handy man and could fix just about anything. It brought him great joy for his children and extended family to look to him for help with their home repair needs. He was truly a walking repair manual, and enjoyed using his knowledge and expertise to help those close to him. Richard will always be remembered for the love, joy and continuous chuckles he brought to all those around him: his family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, fellow campers at his favorite RV park in Half Moon Bay and the wonderful group of people at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center where he volunteered every week. BERG HELEN WALLACE KIRKPATRICK passed away September 18th, 2012 at her home in Corte Madera, California. "Wallace" was born May 25, 1945 in Huntington, WV, the oldest of four girls and daughter of Robert Wallace Kirkpatrick and Helen Gawthrop Kirkpatrick. Her sisters, Nancy Scherba and Christine Kirkpatrick reside in Michigan where Wallace was raised. Another sister, Robin, lives in Chicago. She was married to Theodore Yntema, Jr. and later, Donald Berg. Wallace raised two children: Sarah, who resides in Woodacre, CA and Ted who lives in Austin,TX. Wallace was a wonderful friend, mother, sister, daughter and loving caretaker of her two cats. She will be missed by all of those she touched with her compassion, unconditional love, and support. KYLE CHARLES P. III age 69, of Washington Twp., formerly of Troy, died October 10, 2012. He was born June 8, 1943 in Lock Haven, PA to Charles and Gertrude Kyle. Mr. Kyle served in the Navy and was a truck driver. His memberships include the Moslem Shrine, Valley of Detroit Consistory and he was currently serving as Worshipful Master of Royal Oak Lodge 464 F & AM.
