CARLSON WILLIAM 1923-2012, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on August 17th, 2012. Was a Lt in WWII with the 5th AAF, 22nd Bombardment Group. He was survived by his wife, Patti Carlson, his son William Carlson Jr. and daughter Gail Saavedra.

CARTER MARK FREDERICK age 57 of Newport passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012. Preceded by wife, Kate. Survived by daughter, Stephanie Carter of N. Carolina, and mother, Miriam Carter of Orion. COLLINS REATHA MAE the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Rita Rawls was born November 22, 1937 in Screven, Georgia. She departed this life on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was preceded in death by two (2) sisters, Carolyn Jordan and Gail Jackson; two (2) brothers, Herman Rawls and George Rawls. She leaves to cherish her memory; her children: Michael Collins, Jesup, Georgia, Margie C. (Erskine) Rose, Arlington, Texas, Darryl Pender, Waycross, Georgia and Dontay (Dionne) Collins, Detroit, Michigan; four sisters, five brothers, two aunts, one uncle, nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. ESPER MARY HELEN (NEE McCORMICK) January 2, 1925 – October 18, 2012. Mary Helen was born and raised in Dearborn by her parents, the late Patrick and Margaret McCormick. She attended St. Alphonsus Church and school. Married to the dearly departed Lawrence Esper. Became the mother of 5 children. She lost her beloved daughter Arlene L. Graham to cancer in 2009. Survived by her daughter Linda (Mike) DeJarnett. Her son-in-law David Graham and sons Bernard (Peggy) Esper, Bill (Donna) Esper, and Don Esper. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Tom and Jack McCormick and brother-in-law Ralph Mertz. Survived by her sister Pat Mertz, brother Denny McCormick and his wife Mary and many cherished nieces and nephews. She earned a degree in nursing and enjoyed that work for many years. In her retirement she enjoyed exercising with her friends at the Westland Friendship Center, gardening, drawing, painting and joining various clubs and organizations in the Wayne Community. She loved her dog, Babe. She became a traveler, with Ireland becoming her favorite place. In her travels and in her life, she made many friends. She will be greatly missed. KIEL STANLEY JOSEPH, Age 88, born July 21, 1924 in Hamtramck, Michigan went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Husband of the late Rita June, he is survived by his dear sister Frances Turansky, daughter Gloria Kiel-Gutierrez and her husband Felipe Gutierrez, son Christopher Kiel along with several nieces and nephews.
