Born in Detroit, MI, May 1, 1946, age 66, the beloved son of the late George and Bernice Linklater of Bloomfield Hills, MI, brother of the late Tom Linklater of Rochester Hills, MI. Survived by his loving sister, Barbara Linklater Hohman (husband Tom), of Charlotte, NC; and niece, Jeanne McAtamney (husband Ken), and sister-in-law, Bonnie Linklater, of Winnetka, IL. Great uncle of Jane and Leah Hohman, and Sarah, Joseph, and Thomas McAtamney. Great friend to many. LOFGREN CAROLYN PEARL (GRAHAM) born January 2, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. Raised in Ionia and Pleasant Ridge, Carolyn briefly attended CMU before graduating from the University of Michigan in 1950. Carolyn was employed for 20 years (to the day) at MDSS. She raised her family in Royal Oak before retiring to her Lake Michigan home north of Elk Rapids, and wintering for many years on South Padre Island. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jack Lofgren, her parents Ivan and Faye Graham, and her sister Patricia (Howard) Caudle. Carolyn is survived by her three sons, Michael (Ann), Richard (Lynn) and Andrew (Elizabeth), and seven grandchildren Martha (Nathan) Linsley, Andrea, Emma, Zoey, Luke, Sam and (of course) Jake, as well as many beloved (great) nieces and nephews. Carolyn loved dogs, travel, bridge, and cheering on her Wolverines from her seats on the 50. She will be missed most by her "boys", and by her many friends and bridge partners, and certainly by her grandchildren who quickly learned that "there is no cryin' in card games." The family will be holding a celebration of her life sometime next Summer.
