BIDDLE CHARLES HENRY JR. Of Leonard, died Saturday November 10, 2012 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester. He was born December 28, 1923 in Detroit, the son of Charles and Catherine (nee Heck) Biddle Sr. Charles was a retired electrician and member of Local 58 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He served in WWII as a machine gunner in the 5th Marine Division and fought bravely in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He is survived by four sons and three daughters; Charles III of Centerline, Karen St. Anne of Troy, Judith Kawa of St. Clair Shores, Barbara Brady of Macomb, James of Canton, David of Oxford and Michael of Leonard; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Margarit (nee Kacir) who passed away in 2008. Donations preferred to The Alzheimer's Association. GAGGOS PETER HARRY 81, died on November 10, 2012 in St. Clair Shores, MI. Peter was born in Detroit on March 24, 1931 to Harry and Chryssa Gaggos. He graduated from Cass Technical High School in 1949, Wayne State University in 1953, and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (Missouri) in 1957. A son of Greek immigrants, Peter took the lessons taught by his parents and lived a humble life dedicated to serving others. From a young age, Peter and his brothers supported his family by operating newsstands from adolescence to early adulthood in downtown Detroit. After graduating from college and medical school, he returned home in 1957, and began a successful career as a surgeon, and later as a general practitioner, operating a clinic in northwest Detroit for over 35 years. During his 53-year career, he served over 15,000 patients. Dr. Gaggos lived a quiet life dedicated to his practice and family. He was always present in the lives and milestones of his beloved siblings and their families. He had a great interest in history, art, industry and world events. And his lessons in generosity and humility will always be remembered and practiced by his family. He is survived by his siblings James (Mary), Angelo (Sophia deceased), George (Anna), and Mary; six nieces and nephews, William (Carol), Ernest (Eaman), Kristina (Yianni), David (Amy), Christina (Costandinos), and Harry (Irene); and 11 great-nieces and nephews. WOODALL JOHN "JACK" 75 of Livonia, Michigan passed away on November 10, 2012 after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. and the Rosary will be held from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home (37000 W. 6 Mile in Livonia). Jack was born in Melvindale, MI on August 20, 1937. He graduated from Dearborn High School. Jack was married to Mary Kay Zielinski on September 15, 1962. This year the family gathered to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Jack first served in the Air Force and then worked as an Iron Worker for Local 25 and retired in 1992. For many years he enjoyed tailgating and attending Michigan Football games and following Detroit Tiger baseball. In recent years he enjoyed reading, maintaining an enviably green yard, and buying enough toys to keep the grandchildren entertained (tractor rides and the trampoline were favorites). Though he loves just working in his yard with Mary, he also enjoyed traveling which included London, Paris, Chicago, Lawrenceville, IL, Traverse City and he and Mary became regulars visitors to New York City. Jack is survived by his wife Mary; daughter, Sandy Woodall; son, Kirk Woodall and his wife Keli; daughter, Susan Manuelle and her husband, Guillaume; and grandchildren, Ashley, Kirk, Kaila, Mary, Tyler and Margaux.
