MAYES DAVID 71, of Andersonville, TN, formerly of Detroit, MI died on Sunday, December 16, 2012. He was born on December 6, 1941 in Hamtramck, MI. He was a loving and devoted father and husband. Often described as hilarious, his upbeat personality could put a smile on anyone's face he came across. He worked for the city of Detroit, Wayne County, and then transitioned to RGIS Inventory, where he later retired in 2007. Always strong spirited and with help from Beaumont Hospital he won the battle past cancer. He is survived today by his wife Sue, son, Bradley, and daughter, Gabrielle; and his brother Larry, nephew Gregg and niece, Kristin.
