BASLER INGE ANNA, age 70, died in Troy, Michigan on Wednesday September 28. Born in Vienna Austria, Inge and her late husband Robert moved to America in 1959 and built a life and family together. They were married 50 years until his death last year. Inge was a devoted and loving wife, caring for Bob until his tragic passing. An event she never overcame. She was a warm, thoughtful, well-read, brilliant and beautiful woman whose generosity and hospitality overflowed in everything she did. She provided the hearth of the home, presiding over all family gatherings and poker nights with bountiful plates of homemade Austrian specialties and legendary Christmas cookies. Inge loved all creatures, especially her dear Baron and Rocky. She was exceedingly proud of and adored by her children, Corinne Grousbeck and George Basler and their spouses Wyc Grousbeck and Melanie Basler. She will be deeply missed by her beloved grandchildren Kelsey and Campbell Grousbeck and Cassandra and Christopher Basler, whom she lavished with love. Services and burial are private. LESS JOANNE G., age 82, passed away September 23, 2011 in Crittenton Hospital after a short illness. She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Miss Less, as she was known to two generations of students at Kimball High School in Royal Oak, was one of the teachers who was at Kimball when it opened in 1956. "She was the tough English teacher you hated while in her Advanced Composition class, and the teacher you appreciated every time you had to write something for the rest of your life," said her attorney and former student, Michael Hutson. NUNEZ RAYMOND WILLIAM "BILL" Age 79, passed away September 29, 2011. He was born on September 29, 1932, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late John and Ida "Trett" Nunez. He attended Springfield College, graduating in 1954 upon which he entered and served in the U.S. Army. He returned to Massachusetts and married his beloved wife Claire. He then began his teaching career at Pontiac Public Schools, eventually retiring as an Associate Superintendent for Southfield Public Schools in 1988. He is a long-standing member of The Lions Club receiving an award for his many years of service. Bill is survived by his loving children Wayne (Bettie Jo) Nunez of South Lyon, Paul (Shirley) Nunez of Cumming, Georgia, Sue Nunez of Marquette, Lezlie (David) Culton of Rochester Hills, Steve (Jill) Nunez of South Lyon; siblings, Joan O'Neill of Pawtucket, RI, Mary Lou Calandra of Seattle, Washington; Ray Nunez of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law Lois LaFleur of O'Fallon, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; fvie great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
