Mr. Borchers served in the U.S. Navy from June 1952 untill June 1956. He is survived by his children Julie (Christopher) Lorenz of Naples, Florida, Jeffrey (Erica) Borchers of Waterford, and Jason Borchers of Clawson; and four grandchildren.
