WILSON SISTER CLARE MARIE, O.P. died Friday, February 11th, at Providence Hospital, Southfield. She was 83 years, and in the 62nd year of her Religious Profession in the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine de Ricci from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Entering the Novitiate at Elkins Park in 1947, Sister Clare Marie served in ten ministerial assignments in Residence and Retreat House Ministries both in Pennsylvania and Ohio, while earning an AA degree at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. She came to the Servant Church of St. Alexander, where she became immersed in an active Parish Ministry for ten years, serving with her special gift - a ministry of presence. Sr. Clare Marie is survived by two nieces, Linda (Jim) Laveck and Vera Cooper, as well as several grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and one great-grand-nephew. Visitation began at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, Farmington on February 13th with a well-attended Scripture Service at 7 p.m. The Mass of Resurrection was celebrated at St. Alice's Church in Upper Darby, PA., on February 16th, 2011, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery in Philadelphia. YOUNG DONALD M., of Milford and formerly of Redford Township, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011. He was 84 years old. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Shirlee (d. 2009). YOUNG ROBERT A. SR., retired Sales Manager of Federal-Mogul passed away on February 26, 2011 at 92 years of age. Bob was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on December 4, 1918. He attended Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA. He was married to Margaret (Betty) Young nee Sullivan for 69 years who survives him. His entire working career of over 40 years was spent in the automotive bearing business. A World War II veteran, he served in Europe as Captain in the Field Artillery he also held an aeronautical rating from the Air Force as an Army Aviator. He was decorated with 3 Air Medals for piloting over 110 missions against enemy forces. Bob was a member of the American Legion, the Elk's and Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael. In addition to his loving wife, the following children survive: Robert A. (Suzie) Young Jr. of Illinois, Donald V. (Susan) Young of IL, Timothy Young of Grosse Pointe Park, Mary Beth (Norman) Miller of Canton and John Christopher (Lori) Young of Florida. Also survived by 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
