KRAKOSKY MARY ALICE (NEE STILES) of Warren, Michigan age 79, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 at St. John Macomb Hospital at 7:10 a.m. exactly five years after her sister Gloria, who died on a Sunday at 7:10 a.m. Mary was the beloved wife of Al for 59 years. Dearest mother of Linda, Regina (Mark), Judy (Andy), Albert (Marie), Gloria (Jeff), Michelle (Tim), Millie (Roger), and Michael. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her very much. Mary was preceded in death by her mother and father Gertrude and LaMotte Stiles, and her siblings, Marge, Dolly, Danny, LaVere, Gloria, Jay, June, Greg and Janice. Mary and Al were married on July 12, 1952, in Luzerne, Pennsylvania in St. John Nepomucene Slovak Catholic Church by Rev. Reginald Krakosky, Al's brother who was ordained to the priesthood in June of 1952, his first wedding as an ordained priest was to marry his brother Al and Mary. Fr. Reginald was also instrumental in instructing Mary and baptizing her into the Catholic Church in 1956. Mary's favorite motto was "to Jesus through Mary with love". Her greatest joy was to receive Jesus in Holy Communion. Mary's family will receive relatives and friends Thursday from 2p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the E. J. Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, 3801 18 Mile (NW corner of Ryan) with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service Friday in state 9:30 a.m. with Mass at 10:30 a.m. SS. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Catholic Church (Ryan Rd., just north of 18 Mile). Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests Prayers and Mass offerings.

LePORE JUNE D. (MOSBEY) of Hingham, formerly of Royal Oak, MI and Paterson, NJ, January 27, 2011. June was the beloved wife of the late Alfred R. Lepore, Sr. Devoted mother of Al Lepore and his wife Michele of Hingham. Loving grandmother of Brendan and Rene Lepore both of Hingham. June was the daughter of the late Oliver and Dorothy Mosbey June was born in Robertsdale, PA and lived in Michigan and New Jersey before moving to Hingham. She enjoyed cooking and quilting. June was known for her generosity and caring personality. Most of all June loved spending time with her grandchildren Brendan and Rene. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. MAYS JOHN ANTHONY "JACK" Age 82, of Clayton, NC, deceased Wednesday, January 26, while under Hospice Care for prostate cancer at the WakeMed Center in Raleigh, NC. John was born August 7, 1928, in Detroit, MI and had previously maintained residences in both MI and FL before moving to Clayton, NC following the death of his loving wife, Barbara Irwin Mays. John and Barbara were both Catholic by faith, and married 48 years at the time of Barbara's death. John served in the US Marine Corps., worked as a landscaper, was a graduate of U of D and had fulfilled a long career with Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit when he retired in 1991 as the Sr. Vice-President of Credit Operations. He was an avid bowler and golfer, having been a member of the Detroit Athletic Club's bowling travel team. At the time of his retirement, John held a variety of records, had served as league president, was a club champion and had been inducted into the DAC Bowling Hall of Fame. John is survived by his four sons, John P. and Susan Singer Mays of Riegelsville, PA. , Thomas M. and Amanda Womack Mays of Howell, MI., Robert K. and Nancy Groesser Mays of Harbor Beach, FL., and Frederick D. and Mary Carbin Mays of Youngsville, NC., his two daughters Suzanne and Robert Wehrly of Greer, SC., and Michele E. and Richard Fisher of Clayton, NC., and his 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his sister Eileen Mays Green of Ann Arbor, MI., and has one surviving brother, Donald Mays of Fairfield Glade, TN. Arrangements were handled by the Mc Laurin Funeral Home in Clayton, NC. and the family plans a memorial service later in July. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
