HOLLISTER HOWARD C. (a.k.a. Howie Baby), finalized his long battle with MS, then cancer never complaining and always more interested in encouraging those around him. Paradise found! Today, the world lost a most exceptional human being, but heaven has gained a "rockstar." A mentor to his kids, grandkids and a plethora of others, he was an intelligent, manly man, a tower or strength and loving teddy bear at the same time. Every one of his family members considered him to be THEIR best friend. Howard leaves behind Joan, his gal for 56 years (they began dating when she was 15, he 17!) and a zany, eclectic bunch: daughter Kathy and grandkids Matthew and Kaila, daughter Sally, her husband Kyle, and grandkid Sydney, son Scott and his wife Karen and grandkids Drew and Kyle, sister Dianne, brother Denny and cousin Pat. Howard was a successful businessman, but more importantly, he was successful at embracing the people in his life. He loved people as Jesus did... unconditionally! So, as he finished this race called life; he ditched his cart and sprinted across that finish line! Way to go Howie Baby! Enjoy the heavenly party! A casual celebration of Howard's life will take place at New Hope Church, 6020 Pontiac Lake Rd., Waterford MI on Monday June 18th at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.compassion.com under "critical needs."
