Prevost Donald "Don" Richard, Lansing, Michigan. Today, many people's lives will not be quite the same... Donald (Don) Richard Prevost, Born December 13th 1931 and died July 20, 2012. Don is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara; two sons, Kevin and Adam and four grandchildren, Michael, Jesse, Alex and Mitchell. After a very successful career in Insurance (19 years at John Hancock) and Aaa ( 20 years), Don did it right - he retired in 1995 and wasted no time in pursuing his true passions: sailing, fishing, hunting, gardening and having the neatest, well groomed lawn! Anyone who knew Don would have had a few words/phrases that immediately come to mind in describing Don: Integrity, Sincerity, Honor, Responsibility, "Do it right the first time" and Have fun! For those of us who really knew Don (aka Dad) a couple phrases really stand out to you...... "Get up, there's work to be done and" and "you're not gonna catch any fish sitting on the couch!" We will miss you dearly Don (Dad) however you made such a huge impact to so many of our lives that I think it fair to say that you will live through us every day? On a final note, our Dad's (and Mom's) influence is very evident based on how the grandchildren have emulated the key attributes of their grandparents and also a phrase that our Dad lived his life by.... "every day ask yourself 3 questions- Did I learn something new, did I have fun and did I do both of these without harming anyone? Don's last wish was for his garden to be restored. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to achieve Don's goal of restoring his garden or to Home Hospice or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, c/o Sparrow Foundation, P.O.
