She attended grade school at The Tenacre School in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and then high school at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Connie is survived by her three sons, Carlton Milo Higbie III, Harry Quinn Higbie, and John Morgan Higbie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Carlton Milo Higbie, IV, Christine Quinn Higbie and Catherine Marie Higbie. HUBERT PEGGIE L. 1916-2011. Peggie was born in San Francisco to Claude and Frieda Littlepage. In 1940 she joined the Army Red Cross and was sent to Alaska where she met her future husband, Capt. John Hubert, MD. After the war, they returned to Michigan, where her husband had a surgical practice. In 1989, Peggie returned to Carmel where she volunteered as a Docent at Point Lobos and was active with the Carmel Garden Club. Peggie is survived by her four children, Diane (Sam) Greenawalt of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Karen (Paul) Kriz of Carlsbad, CA, Chris Hubert of Carmel, CA, and Kurt Hubert of Cardiff, CA; and a sister, Nancy John of Carmel.

JACKSON LT. COL. KAYE D. 79, a resident of Bootjack passed away August 23, 2011. Retired United States Air Force. Kaye was born June 7, 1932 in Detroit, the son of Ray and Lyda Jackson. On October 1, 1976 Kaye retired from the Air Force with a rank of Lt. Colonel and returned to Dearborn, MI to work for the Ford Motor Company until his retirement in 1991. KIRKPATRICK ELEANOR Age 80 of Dearborn Heights died August 12, 2011 at her residence. She was born and spent her whole life in Michigan. Eleanor was joined in marriage to Robert in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Eleanor was a member of the Dearborn Garden Club through which she enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed sewing and boating. Eleanor frequented St. Dustin's Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights. She is survived by sons Douglas (Sharon), Timothy Kirkpatrick, grandson Brian (Nancie), two great granddaughters Ella and Emmy. Eleanor was preceded in death by husband Robert, sisters Marge and Josephine. Cremation has taken place at the request of family.
