COULTER EUGENE Born: August 5, 1933 and departed this life on December 8, 2013. Eugene was the son of Willard Coulter and Rosa Johnson, (both preceded him in death). He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Juanita (Robinson), who he wed on December 5, 2010. He also leaves two sons Aaron and Branson (Donna) Coulter, and two daughters, Stephanie Coulter and Christine Hall. He also had a daughter Linda Davis who preceded him in death. Eugene had 6 brothers and sisters, surviving him are Jesse Coulter, Wilma Haskins,and Harriet (Floyd) Norfleet. Preceding him in death were two brothers Delane and David and one sister Verna Flynn. Eugene had nine grandchildren, Charlesa, Allison, Terance Shawn, DeAndre, Bronson, Imani, Brittany and Jada. He also had nine great -grandchildren, Shayla, Najee, Christian, Allyson, Xavier, Bronson Jr., Blake, Riley and Candace. Eugene was honorably discharged and received the rank of Corporal after serving his country in the Korean War from 1951-1954. He also worked many years as a certified electrician and automotive technician. He also operated a candy store for several years. His favorite past times were fishing, playing dominos, tending his plants, and spending time with family and friends. DARNELL, JEAN ALBERTA HOYT Age 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, December 2, 2013. Born December 29, 1916 in Springfield, OH to George Emmett and Edna Theresa (Scherzinger) Hoyt, Jean was the oldest of four children. On September 10, 1941, she married Donald Edward Darnell in Bellefontaine, OH. Together they raised five children, Launa Kathryn (Alan) Wakenhut, John Hoyt (Shirley) Darnell, Linda Ann (Clifford) Smith, James Edward (Joan) Darnell and Laura Jean (David) Fox, in Northville where they resided for many years and Jean was an active member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved Don, her parents and siblings and her firstborn son. She is survived by her five children; ten grandchildren, Jeanne Wakenhut, Amy Wakenhut (Bob) Jones, Matthew (Angela) Smith, Andrew Smith, Sara Darnell (John) Sharpe, Gregory (Susan) Smith, Kathryn Darnell, Margaret Smith, Benjamin Smith and Justin Darnell; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Jean resided for many years with her youngest daughter, Laura, in Willis where she was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
