WALLS CHARLES E. died peacefully on April 10, 2011, at the age of 84, with his beloved wife Catherine at his side. He was born on November 1, 1926 in Chattanooga, TN to Claude E Walls and Frances M Walls. He married Catherine M. Ferguson (Villenueve) on July 7, 1980. They enjoyed 30 wonderful years together, living in Belleville, MI, Grayling, MI, Sarasota, FL, and Westland, MI. Charles was a proud WWII Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Mendocino in the Pacific. He graduated from Michigan State Normal College (Eastern Michigan University) in 1953. Charles retired from the 34th District Court in Romulus, MI where he served concurrently as Magistrate, Chief Administrator, Chief Clerk, and Chief Probation Officer. He crafted beautiful stained glass, loved taking trips with Catherine on their Harley Davidson motorcycle and on many cruises, enjoyed gardening and boating, and loved his Australian Shepherd Max. He is survived by his wife Catherine, sons Charles (Alice Holland) and Calvin (Julia McWilliams), daughter Mary, stepdaughters Linda Ferguson and Candy (Bob) Campbell and sisters Wilma Payeur and Mary Margaret Davis. He was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and blessed uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law Joseph Payeur and Frank Davis, step-son John Ferguson, and step-daughter Susan Ferguson Wirts. Special thanks to Linda Ferguson, Candy Ferguson Campbell, Linda Davis Bloom, and St. Joseph Mercy Home Care and Hospice for their extraordinary care during Charles's illness. A Memorial Service conducted by his nephew Tim Davis will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 15th, at Life Church, 7001 North Haggerty (corner of Warren), Canton, MI. The service will be followed by a luncheon provided by Leo's Restaurant of Westland, MI, where Charles and Catherine dined frequently and were treated like family by owners and employees. ANDERSON RAYMOND age 83, passed away peacefully at Henry Ford Hospital on April 12, 2011, surrounded by his children. Raymond was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, a member of Holy Redeemer Parish. He raised his family in Dearborn Heights, Michigan (1958 to 1973) and Ann Arbor, Michigan (1973 to 1998). He most recently lived in Henry Ford Village in Dearborn, Michigan. Ray was first and foremost a dedicated husband and father. He supported his family of seven children though his work as an engineer for Bendix Corp. and Midwest Microwave Corp. For most of his life, Ray was deeply involved with the Catholic Church, most recently as a member of the Catholic Council at Henry Ford Village. For much of the last ten years, Ray was a Hospice volunteer at Henry Ford Village. Raymond was preceded in death by the love of his life, Therese Marie Anderson, who passed away in 2008, and by his daughter Christine, and his son Steven. Raymond is survived by his children Joseph (Maureen) Anderson, Jerry (Betsy) Anderson, Denise Anderson, Michael (Kazuko) Anderson, and Maureen Anderson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Henry Ford Village Chapel in Dearborn. There will be a half hour visitation time before the service.

BOYER JOSEPH EDWARD (Formerly Joseph Bojanowski) age 49, of Rochester Hills, MI, passed away suddenly April 9, 2011. Beloved former husband of Diane Boyer and dearest father of Alexander Boyer. Survived by his mother, Violet Bojanowski, and his two sisters, Casandra Shain and Mary Przygocki. Joe grew up in Eastpointe, and had a long and successful career as an automotive technician, both in the United States and abroad, most recently supporting U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He utilized his talents in multiple positions, no doubt saving many lives. He received a medal from the U.S. Army for his efforts; an honor not commonly bestowed. His exceptional proficiency and dedication to excellence resulted in professional recognition throughout his career. His respect and admiration for our armed forces was overshadowed only by his immense love of automobiles and hockey. He was known to charitably share his expertise by assisting family, friends and fellow technicians, even offering his automotive repair services at no expense. At the age of 13, he received an award, presented by a Detroit Red Wing player, for 1.60 goals against average. KNUDSEN ROY F. Age 92; 51 year resident of Rochester Hills passed away April 10th, 2011. Beloved husband of Mildred (Millie) for 60 years, cherished father of Gary (Susan) and Carole Kutschman (Len), beloved grandfather of Jeff Kutschman (Kim), and Jessica Kutschman (Eric Chemberlin). Former Captain of the U.S. Army Air Corp. (1942 1946) and Graduate of Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania (1949). Roy worked for General Motors as an electrical engineer at the Technical Center in Warren, Michigan for most of his professional career, and when not working enjoyed music and his favorite sports of golf and skiing. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling to many far away places with Millie and spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren. He also enjoyed his time as a performer with the OPC 650 Players at the Old Person's Commission in Rochester, and with the Grosse Point Community Chorus where he also performed. Roy was an eternal optimist as well as a generous, kind and giving person to all that he came in contact with. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Roy's life and memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2011 12:30p.m. at Great Oak Country Club,Rochester.
