MARGITAN DOROTHY L. "DOTTIE" 76, of Ocala, Florida went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2010 under the loving care of family and Marion County Hospice in Ocala, FL. She was born December 4, 1933 to her parents John L. and Viola M. Cooksey in Bloomsdale, Missouri. Dottie and her husband moved to the Ocala area 11 years ago from Wyandotte, Michigan. She was the owner of an Antique Business back in Michigan and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, George Margitan of Ocala, FL; three sons, Larry Joe Kitchen of Washington, Missouri, Steven E. Thomason of Ocala, FL, George M. Margitan (Lisa) of Flat Rock, MI; daughter Angela S. Senterfitt (Rev. Olen "Bo") of Altha, FL; two brothers John T. GRIFFIN HELEN McCABE Age 71, lost her battle with cancer June 26, 2010. She lived a full life filled with much laughter, happiness, and joy. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. POPP RICHARD FRANK SR. passed away at home on 25 June 2010. Richard was a much loved and well respected teacher at Garden City High School for over 30 years. PRICE JAMES BELFORD Born July 18, 1928 in Detroit, MI. He was the youngest of four children born to Willie and Hattie Price. Attended Alger Public School and graduated from Northwestern High School in 1946. Mr. Price joined the Merchant Marines (Navy) and served from 1948-1950. He also served in the United States Army from 1950-1952 and was honorably discharged. He retired from General Motors after working 28 years and was a member of GM Local #22. He was a member of People's Community Church where he was an active member of the Men's Usher Board, Sunday School Class No.1, Prayer Ministry, and the Friday Bible Study. He gave to many charities and was a Silver Life member of the NAACP. His passions included cultivating to his flowers and traveling. His journeys took him throughout North America and Canada, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Caribbean. Mr. James Price leaves to cherish his memory, three nieces and three nephews, numerous great- nieces and nephews, a dear sister and brother of the heart, a loving host of cousins, family and faithful friends.
