PARKER NINA (SEGAL), 87, of Country Side West Blvd., Port Orange, Florida (formerly of Southfield Mi) went home to be with our Lord on May 10, 2013. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was a nutritionist at Zerbo's Health Food Store in Livonia, MI. Nina was preceded in death by husband, Edward Parker and by her eldest son, Gary Parker. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Connie and Jim Owenby of Topton, North Carolina; her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Margie Parker of Bloomfield Hills, MI; grand-children Erik (and wife Amy) Parker of Enid Oklahoma; Lauren Parker of West Palm Beach, FL, Michael, Matthew, Lindsay and Lisa Parker of Bloomfield Hills, MI; one great-grand-daughter, Gabrielle Parker of Enid, OK. Nina was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her brother Mickey Segal (MI) and her two sisters, Bonnie Kohn (MI) and Roselle Harrs (Washington), several nieces, nephews and five step-grand-children, eight step-great-grandchildren and five step-great-great-grandchildren. SCHRADER WILLIAM LEE 95, husband of Alice Schrader of Salem, South Carolina died Friday, April 19, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Schrader was born on March 18, 1918, the son of Lewis C. and Anna McEncroe Schrader. He attended the University of Wisconsin prior to joining the United States Army in 1943. Mr. Schrader was a World War II veteran stationed in the South Pacific. He earned numerous decorations including the Victory Medal, Pacific Theater Ribbon with Four Bronze Battle Stars and a Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Schrader graduated from Lawrence Technological University. He was a career engineer with the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command and worked in Research and Development until his retirement in 1979. He was commended for his contribution to the success of the Patriot Missile System. A longtime resident of West Bloomfield, Michigan, he moved to South Carolina in 1985. Mr. Schrader had a natural love of music and was a member of the choir of St. Paul the Apostle Church, the Keowee Key Koraliers and the Barbershop Chorus. His favorite hobby was fine woodworking including the design and building of clocks and furniture. He also enjoyed a good bridge game. In addition to his wife, Alice of 65 years, Mr. Schrader is survived by a daughter, Alice Xenakis (James) of Troy, MI; by sons William Schrader (Marcia) of Kalamazoo, MI; James Schrader (Nancy) of Grayslake, IL; and David Schrader (Lorie) of Dallas, TX; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. SLADICK THOMAS R. age 86, died May 8, 2013. He was born March 28, 1927, in Detroit, to Albert and Josephine (Moultrup) Sladick. He had lived in the Ludington area the last 27 years, coming from Southfield. Mr. Sladick proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. He had worked as a book binder at Typograph Printing Co. for 44 years. A member of St. Simon Catholic Church, Tom was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, as well as a member of Edwin E.
