He served at St. Bonaventure Monastery, Detroit for ten years and also as a spiritual director to the Secular Franciscans. BIANCHINI ROY May 2, 2013, age 88 of Harsens Island. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (2001). Loving father of Phillip (Denise), Veronica (Mick) Isaacs, and Rocky (Mary Jo). Proud grandfather of Erica (Christopher) Smith, Zachary, Joseph, Michael, Matthew, Benjamin, and Olivia. Dear brother of Lucy Niespolo and the late Arthur. Survived by his sister-in-law Rose and many admiring nieces and nephews. Roy made the American dream a reality. He proudly served his country in the US Army fighting valiently in the Battle of the Bulge and proudly remaining lifetime friends with the men he met. He founded Empire Tile & Marble Co. in 1959, while working hard he traveled the world befriending many. Roy became a true outdoorsman spending many days hunting, fishing and loving all life had to offer. Roy made everyone he met feel special when visiting him at his Harsens Island paradise, most never wanted to leave. Roy's young spirit will remain in our hearts forever. CARSON HILDEGARDE May 2, 2013, age 81 of Washington Township. Beloved wife of Laurence and beloved mother of William and Catherine. Hilda was born in Detroit and lived most of her life in Michigan. She was an alumna of Western Michigan University and worked as an Occupational Therapist at the Jewish Home for the Aged. Hilda lived on Okinawa, Japan, in the 1970's and volunteered to work with wounded servicemen at Camp Mercy Hospital. An extremely gifted artist, upon her return to the States, she created beautiful toys, fabric sculptures, and elegant handbags, and won top honors in juried art shows in several states. Hilda is survived by her husband Larry, son Bill and daughter-in-law Liz, daughter Cathy and son-in-law Mark, and grandchildren Sarah, Heidi, Adam, and David. She will always live in the hearts of those who love her. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Hospice of Michigan.

Formerly of Detroit and a Livingston County resident since 1971, Domenic was a graduate of Northwest High School in Detroit and a proud WWII U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He worked for Ford Motor Company as an engineer for over 33 years and attended Heart of the Shepherd Lutheran Church in Howell. Beloved husband of Georgia Rose (Budd-Jack) DiFabio whom he married in Detroit on August 18, 1951.
