BERCI JOHN, 82, born June 25, 1928, died August 4, 2010. Preoeded in death by his wife, Carmen; parents Sante and Angelina Berci; sisters Gertrude, Videlma and Angie; and son-in-law Jack Hoffman. Survived by Julie, Ginny Hoffman, Rose (Mike) Clark, Tony (Brenda) and Pete (Sheryll); eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sisters Naida and Lucy (Roger) and in-laws Moe and Jeannie Couillard all of Ottawa, Canada. Also surviving him are his two beloved cats, Misha and Bootsie. He emigrated from Ottawa, Canada in 1956 and began working in the printing business in Detroit. John was an independent business owner for over 28 years. His son, Tony, and daughter, Ginny, still maintain and operate his business, Berci Printing. He was an avid bowler, being a member of the Printcraft Bowling League since 1956. Service will be at Southfield Funeral Home, 18338 W. 12 Mile Road, Southfield, MI, Saturday, August 7, from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the John Berci Bowling Scholarship Tournament, c/o Tony Berci, 15992 Brentwood, Livonia, MI 48154.
