To Mrs. LaPointe, Renee, Bo, Danny, and Karen I am so sorry about your loss. As there are no words which will remove the pain and heartache of losing your husband and father I pray you will find some comfort in knowing the sacrifices "Coach" made and the sacrifices you made as a family of a football coach allowed him to touch and construtively influence the lives of countless young men. Your husband and father has left his indelible mark, and that is eternal!
This is a very sad day for many young men who's life coach touched you will be sadly missed. My prayers will always be with the family.
There are no goodbyes for us, wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.
God Bless Bob, loyal coach and fraternity brother. We will all miss you!
You taught us how to be men and that life has many lessons. It is our job to overcome them. I will never forget the blood sweat and tears I gave you on the grid iron. Harper Woods ND 1991.
Coach taught all of us who played for him and enduring lesson in life: "Always keep your chin strap buckled." 30 years later, that still applies. He was a good man. Condolences to the family.
Very sorry to hear of your father's passing, Renee and Bo. May God Bless him and keep him in the palm of his hand.
