Mr. Long was my fifth grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School in Livonia. He left a great impression on me.
I will always remember Mr. Long as the one wih the biggest smile whenever he came over for the pinocle parties at our house. He is missed. Bless you and the family.
We will miss you, Sam. You were a gentleman always and I am proud to be able to call you friend.
My condolences to the family of Mr. Long. He was my 5th grade teacher at Jefferson Elem. way back in the late 50's. He was one of my favorite teachers and I'll always remember that he gave me the lead female role in a play that we put on for the rest of the school called "Father's Easter Hat. RIP Mr. Long, you were one of the "best". Sincerely, Nancy Gatteri
