GENORD PAUL EDWARD, a former resident of St. Clair Shores, West Bloomfield and Brighton, died on March 31, 2012, at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his wife, Germaine, in 1996, and is survived by his son, Steven (Janet), daughters, Ann Marie (Bill) Miller, Colette (Edward) Melton, Bonnie (Michael) Olszewski; and grandchildren, Paul, Matthew and Adam Genord, Amy, Steven, Mark and Nicole Miller, Jessica, Katelyn, Rebecca and Lyndsey Melton, and Joseph, Abbey and Peter Olszewski. Also surviving are his brothers, James Genord and Richard (Theresa) Genord, sisters, Carol (Leo) Super and Lois Panoff, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, worked with Chrysler Motors for over thirty years, and enjoyed spending time with his family in his retirement. Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main St., Brighton, on Tuesday, April 3, 4-9 p.m., with a Rosary Tuesday evening. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Road, Brighton, on Wednesday, April 4, at 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made in his name to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
