MICHAEL JOSEPH JR. 87 passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012. He was born March 2, 1925, in Detroit, MI and was a 43 year resident of Las Vegas. Joe was a decorated World War II army veteran, participating in all but one of the European Campaigns. He retired from the gaming industry where he worked as a casino executive. Joe loved people and always took time to get to know anyone he met. He was very devoted to his family; loving husband, father and grandfather. Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years Hazel, daughters Valerie, Leslie, Stephanie, and Kimberly ; sons Mark, Doug, and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Jimmy, Joey, Ryan, Kelci, Carson, Brooke, and Taylor; sons-and daughters in-law Art, Dennis, Ron, Ellen and Alla; and his older brother, Mike Michael, M.D. Funeral Services will be held in Las Vegas on April 12th. Interment will be April 13th.
