Sister of Joanne Mettert (Blum). Dear aunt of David Beer (Donna), Dave Jr., Craig (Kate) and the late Jennifer. Great aunt to Janet, Jennifer, Charlie, Emily and several other nieces and nephews. Also survived by her loving canine companion, Sadie. Retired Dearborn Heights High School Teacher. Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of the Voran Funeral Home on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 3-9 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, April 13, 2012 at the funeral home. I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Beer's passing. I loved her class so much, she had always made it a joy. Many memories to be held onto. May she rest in the arms of the Lord and I will keep you all in my prayers.
