I did not know Hoyt, but I am grateful for his taking time to write about his gransfather and my great grandfather, Andreas Olsen. The biographical story he contributed to the Sanpete Saga in 1995 brings deeper meaning to the life of Andreas. I recall visiting with Agnes Anderson (Hoyt's mother and my great aunt) at family reunions in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Clearly, Hoyt's impact lives on. Many thanks for his contribution to preserve the history of Andreas Olsen.
