(Jane) Knaus, Sharon (Steve) Freitas, Louise Knaus and the late Gary Knaus. Dear aunt of Emily (Andrew) Pucker and Stephen Freitas, Jr. Visitation Friday 2:00-9:00pm with Rosary at 7:00 at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack, Grosse Pointe. Funeral Saturday in state 9:30am until time of Mass 10:00am at St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church, 1401 Whittier, Grosse Pointe Park. Bonnie was a dear friend and co-worker. She was so kind and really loved people--especially my children. Bonnie gave to them unconditionally, hugging and posting my eldest's artwork and making quilts for and laughing with my twins. She helped me navigate the deep waters of Deloitte and watched me go back to school to get my degree. I had planned to get together recent pictures of the boys to send to her, but I was a little late. I am saddened at her departure, but rejoice to know that I knew and loved her.
