Beloved son of the late E. Joseph and Ann R. Dear brother of Mary B., Ann R. Hewson, Richard J. (Judith) and the late John J. Uncle of Christina, Joanna, Joseph and Thomas. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile), Tuesday 3:00-8:00 p.m. with Rosary service 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1828 Jay St., Detroit 48207. Mike was our next door neighbor at his office suite on Maple Road. We shared many a pleasant conversation and his beloved cup of coffee. I called Mike to meet me at Starbucks on the Friday he fell ill. We will miss him.
