HICKERSON MARLENE J. Age 77, passed away July 29, 2012. Beloved wife of Tom for 58 wonderful years. Dearest mother of Timothy (Shirley) of Warren, Debra (James) Sultana of Washington Township, Judy of Traverse City and Mark (Lisa Young) of Macomb Township. Cherished grandmother of Sondra Johnson, Jamie (Josh) Johnson, Courtney (Brian) Palmarchuk and Pilar (Dave) Dennis, and great-grandmother of Codie, Kia, Destinie and Alexis. Survived by sisters Patsy (the late Ron) Burch, Charlene (Tom) Walschlager and Carol (John) Brashier. Predeceased by sisters Maxine (the late James) Dalawrak, Donna (Joe) Wilbanks and Brenda (John) Stivers. Marlene will be missed by best friend Nancy Barum many nieces, nephews, friends and family. She retired from Henry Ford Hospital after 52 years of service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Sterling Heights Chapel of the E.J.Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc., 3801 18 Mile Road. (NW corner of 18 Mile). Memorial Visitation to be held in Waynesboro, Tennessee at a later date.
