CHAMES NICHOLAS ACHILLES Age 80, of Wayne, died peacefully Tuesday of Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Chames was a gentle soul who entered this world on December 5, 1931 in Waukesha, WI, son of the late Frances Ciolino and Achilles Chames. Following dental school, he joined the Navy Reserves, and proudly served until he retired as Commander in 1989. Dr. Chames practiced dentistry in Wayne where he was a member of the Wayne Rotary. A lover of opera, he was a renaissance man who could make or fix almost anything. I was Nick's State Farm Agent for over 20 years and had all of his insurance during that time. Great memories, visiting him at his Dental practice and had great conversations. Very nice man, with a kind heart. May he rest in Peace and his memory, always be Eternal. Yiassou Niko. Your friend, George.
