FORBES EARL Died at age 86 on August 3, 2012, surrounded by his family. He owned and operated Forbes Landscape Contractors for over 50 years. Noted square dancer and caller. Survived by his beloved wife Mary Lou; sons Gary (Karen), James, John; daughter Julie (Maurice) Adoranti, and niece Nancy (Ken) Josefiak. Grandfather of six. Visitation Sunday 2-9 p.m. at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Funeral Monday at 10 a.m. at St Clement Catholic Church, Romeo. Memorial contributions to Ray Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. are suggested. www.henrymmalburg.com.

I am so sorry to learn of Earl's passing. He did a great deal of landscape work at my parent's home on Colonial Road in Grosse Pointe (Eleanor and Fred Thistlethwaite). And when my mother died suddenly in 1982, he came to the funeral home to pay his respects. I will always rememeber his gentle ways, warm smile and good nature. He was always a gentleman and a gentle man. I remmber him fondly. I will keep all of you in my thoughs and prayers during these difficult days. Jim Thistlethwaite

I am so very sorry to learn of Earl's passing. My sincere & heartfelt condolences to all of his family & loved ones. An old friend of Jamie's :-) ~ I will always remember his aura of warmth, and his collection of journals & family movies. A very special man he was.
