SHIFF JOHN C., of Davisburg formerly of Clarkston; August 4, 2012; age 77. Preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann; father of James (Julie) Shiff, Debra (Riley) Exum, Katherine (John) Brenner, John (Denise) Shiff and Dean (Kelly) Shiff; grandfather of Dillon and Abbie Shiff, Andrew (Sarah), Joseph (Heather) Exum, Ashley (Douglas) Loomis, David, Lauren, Anna and Emily Brenner, Samantha and Jacob Shiff, Alicia, Ethan and Noelle Shiff, Kara, Kalvyn, Zack and Gabe Robinson; great grandfather of Mary Katherine and Jack Loomis, Sean and Catherine Ann Exum; brother of Theodore (Nancy) Shiff, his twin George Shiff and Hal (Jan) Shiff, a host of nieces and nephews, along with many friends that he loved dearly. John was a biology professor and department manager at Oakland University, A member of the Carmelite Community and Knights of Columbus - 4th degree. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate masses being said in their father's memory. Friends may visit Friday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston. Rosary service Friday 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass Saturday August 11th at 11:00 a.m. Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford where friends may visit directly at the church 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass. WE ARE SORRY TO LEARN OF JOHN'S DEATH. HAVING KNOWN HIM FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS AS A FELLOW FOURTH DEGREE KNIGHT OF COLUMBUS, WE WILL MISS HIS "GOOD MORNING" GREETINGS THAT HE ALWAYS USED ANY TIME OF THE DAY!
