2012-10-02BRUTON-COUTIS DONNA 58 of Portsmouth died Sunday, September 9, 2012 with her family by her side. Born May 3 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of William and Loretta (Kent) Bruton. She is survived by her husband Timothy Coutis, and her step-son Nicholas Coutis of Providence, Rhode Island. her sister Jacqueline of Detroit, and William Bruton of Wilmington, Delaware. Donna was the sister of the late Denise A. Marshall. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. I was so sorry to read this sad news. I went to Winship Elementary/Junior High School with Donna; she was such a quiet and kind girl. Had I not been an avid baseball fan, I never would have known that Donna's father was a Tigers center-fielder. Peter Caplan
