2012-10-05THORSBY NORMA JANE, age 77 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away October 3, 2012 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born October 24, 1934 in Benton, Kentucky. Norma is survived by her loving husband, Keith Thorsby whom she married on July 7, 1956. Dear mother of Charles (Melissa) Thorsby, Norma Zamenski, Sue (Bill) Cassavoy and Karen Coleman. Grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of seven. Sister of Phyllis (Bud) Peterson and her twin, Lorna June (Paul) Broder. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Norma loved to crochet and spend time with her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Visitation on Sunday, October 7th from 3-9 p.m. Funeral services on Monday, October 8th at 12:00 Noon at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI. I am a cousin to Jane. Aunt Lummie was a sister to my father,James. I have fond memories of our times together as children. We are so very sorry for the family's loss.
