2012-10-10HENDERSON DR. HUGH WILLIAM, M.D. passed away on October 2, 2012 at the age of 90 years surrounded by family at his home in Lake Worth Florida. Loving father to Karole August, David (Deceased), Sandra (Stelios) Stylianou. Graduated Wayne State University Medical School 1947. Practiced Cardiology and Internal Medicine for 53 years in Detroit. Post residency for many years in Grosse Pointe. Former member GPYC, Lochmoor, Hunt Club, DYC and Grosse Pointe Senior Men's Society. Served in World War II and Korean War. Past president of WSU School Of Medicine Alumni Association. Initiated the Coronary Control Unit at SJH in the mid 1960's. Had the first patient in SJH when it opened its doors in 1952. Associate Professor WSU School Of Medicine for many years.

So very sad to hear this. He saved my life when I was 18 when others had given up. My children and I are so grateful . Love you Hugh.
