HARRINGTON JAMES "JIM" a resident of Grosse Pointe Woods, age 76 passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2012. Beloved husband of Patricia. Cherished father of daughter Bridget, son Jay (Heather), and grandfather of Madison. Retired FBI Special Agent who loved his family, friends and country. A memorial gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m., immediately followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, October 13, at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080. So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. What a great guy and FBI Special Agent he was. We were Hosatge Negotiators while assigned to teh Detroit Division and he conducted at least two highly dangerous and successful negotiations while we were mutually assigned there in the 1970's. He will always be remembered as one of our very best Agents and outstanding negotiator of the Detroit Division. With deep regret and condolences, Denny Kurre
