NAPIER PAUL JONATHAN Age 56 of Ann Arbor, was taken by cancer October 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Edward A. and Marcyanne Napier. Born August 19, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA., he is survived by his sisters Beverly (Richard Fabian), Joan (Fred Schneider) and brother Gregory (Susan). In addition to his many dear friends, he leaves behind a loving cadre of nieces and nephews; Jonathan Napier (Elise), Katherine Napier, Vanessa Fabian, Emily Schneider, Nicole Fabian, Nicholas Schneider and his grand niece Sophia Napier. Paul was a 1974 graduate of Pioneer HS. Never married, but much loved, he lived life to the edge and was the original Cycle Performance "fast and furious." For more than 30 years, he owned and operated Napier Restoration of Ann Arbor. He was a tireless and consummate craftsman best known for his work rebuilding and restoring classic automobiles and antique pipe organs, including that of Hill Auditorium. His talents, his smiles, his humor, his wisdom and his charity will be missed by all. Visitation for family and friends will be at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Thursday, October 18, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Friday October 19, 10am.
