MACKIEWICZ JOYCE Age 85, of Warren, Michigan, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 14, 2012. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 4, 1927, the daughter of David and Dorothy (nee Shirley) Brundle. She was preceded in death by her brother, David. She married Chester Peter Mackiewicz on August 9, 1947. They divorced following 27 years of marriage and he preceded her in death. Joyce is survived by four daughters: Stefanie Wagner (husband Dennis), Susan Ambrozy (husband George Jr.), Jennifer Mackiewicz (husband Steve Blamires) and Nancy Mackiewicz (husband Roger Kennedy) and five grandchildren: Dennis, Jeffrey and David Wagner, and Lee Ambrozy (husband FU Dong) and George Ambrozy III. A memorial service will be held on her birth date May 4, 2013 at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores, MI. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel at Windemere Senior Park Community, 31800 Van Dyke, Warren, MI where Joyce resided for the past year.
