GALKA DAVID L. passed away on November 1, 2012 at the age of 42. Cherished husband of Lara, dear son of Lawrence and Marlene, beloved brother of Cindy (John) McCarthy and Karen (Ted) Kulczycki. Loving uncle to Michael, Erica, Stephanie, and Natalie. Special son-in-law of Michael and Barbara Zebrowski; favorite brother-in-law of Lisa and Lynette Zebrowski. Dear friend of Andy, Rick, Marc, Karla, and Anne. Will also be sadly missed by furry companion Harwell. Dave is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Memorial visitation on Monday, November 5th beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass following at 11:00 a.m. at St. Florian Catholic Church, 2626 Poland Street, Hamtramck. Arrangements entrusted to Jurkiewicz and Wilk Funeral Home. No flowers please.

Dave was a wonderful person, fantastic friend who lived larger than life. His smile and hearty laugh would light up a room. Dave's generosity and goodwill represented the best in people. He will be missed in days but remembered and loved forever.

Dave was a good friend and one who I shared a lot of laughs with since we met in high school. His smile was infectious and there never seemed to be a time when it wasn't spread across his face. My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family during this difficult time.
