I am a long-time friend of Joyce Barslow. She and I go back decades. She would often speak of her Bill's brother Evans to me, and so although Evans and I never met, I often felt as though I knew him. I wish Evans God speed.

Evans was one of the nicest an most intelligent veterans I ever met at Long Beach VA Hospital. I was very saddened to learn of his passing. Peace to his spirit.
