Mr. Offen (as I called him) was a wonderful, loving person. As a former customer of his - he was always with a smile and made me feel special even after he retired.
Sam was great man who lived an extraordinary life. I am glad to have met him, to have heard his story and to have read his book. Despite surviving the Holocaust, Sam lived an ambition life and had a very positive attitude. My condolences to the family of Sam.
Sam was a wonderful, kind soul. Quite a history as he was a tenant of my fathers, Ave of Fashion, my husband and I went to school with Ellen, and my husband was a customer of Bob's at the Country Squire Shop. I worked for Fidelity Bank at Maple and Woodward and loved reconnecting and servicing Sam's shop. Condolences to his loving family.
