At Mazda in 1988 when the name "Millie" was called out loud in Trim, fairness & justice was coming to represent the workers. The ideal of equal pay and rights for women was defended always. I could only hope to learn from your example of strength & determination. Solidarity. Always Sister.
Helen and I are just devasted at the loss of our devoted and good friend, Millie. I had the pleasure of working with Millie for several years. She and I started out at Mazda together and shared many hours of work as UAW reps. I found her to be an inspiration to all that knew her. Now she and her beloved Karl will share an eternity of love.
