ETLINGER REV. PETER J. C.S.B. Rochester, NY: Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the age of 94 at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse. Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary. Survived by his sisters, Mary Hayden and Theresa Niblo; nieces and nephews; and his Basilian confrères. Fr. Peter professed vows in the Basilian Fathers on August 15, 1939, and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1947. He served as a teacher and guidance counselor at Aquinas Institute from 1952 to 1996. Fr. Peter resided at Christ the King Church from 2000 to 2011 and then under the grace-filled care in the infirmary at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse. Calling hours will be held on THURSDAY 3-7 p.m. at the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse (150 French Rd, Rochester, NY), with evening Prayer at 7 p.m. Fr. Peter will lie in state on FRIDAY from 9:30a.m. until his funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
