CRONIN THEODORE "TED", age 63 of Byron Center, Michigan formerly of the Lake Orion area passed away peacefully on December 3, 2012. Ted is remembered for his big heart and generosity, volunteering his time with Habitat for Humanity. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Detroit in 1971. He was an avid outdoorsman, which included hunting, scuba diving, fishing and golfing. Ted worked as a Systems Analyst at Auto Owners Insurance in Lansing. Beloved son of Constance and the late Richard F. Cronin. Dear brother of Christine (Charles) Salley, Thomas Cronin, Timothy (Kathleen) Cronin, Richard F. (Judy) Cronin, Constance J. (David R.) Carr. Caring uncle of 12 and great-uncle of eight. Ted was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and William Burroughs. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 1 p.m. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. The visitation hours will be Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 5-9 p.m. and Friday, December 7, 2012, from 2-9 p.m. along with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152. Ted will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Mass, with interment at Holy Sepulchre, Southfield, MI.
